TED, nonprofit!

Hi everyone!

Today I’ll be writing about “TED”. TED is a platform for ideas worth spreading, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less).  As can be seen from in the description of the platform, TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics, include psychology, in more than 100 languages.  Also is a nonprofit!! It’s wonderful.

I became aware of this page for work of investigation, search information respect my topic. After a useless review, I found a testimony in TED about my topic of investigation that I used for my work.
Then, I began to listen to more and more very impressive testimonies of people, from psychologists to people affected by forms of disability. From there I stared to visit of page because I like listen to resilient people. I’m inspired and encouraged this people.

I recommend this page because is a website that’s building a center of free knowledge from the world's most inspired thinkers. Also, TED is owned by a nonprofit, nonpartisan foundation. Well, if you want to keep high your motivation you can visit TED. It’s great.

I leave you the link: https://www.ted.com/

Good luck!

Chiloé and the alleged natural disaster

People,

Today I’ll be talking (or write) about the problem with people in Chiloé and the natural disaster.
Also, I would like to say of the government's incompetence and irresponsibility.

In general, the situation in Chiloé is very complicating product of one of the most devastating disasters environmental and social the most serious crisis in its recent history. Different spices, mainly marine, were found dead on the beaches of Chiloé.   This is a product of discard 9.000 tons of salmon in decomposition into the sea. All this has been duly authorized by the government.

Also, this government did not properly inform, neither in a transparent manner to the community and members of Chiloé, attribute falsely the causes of the problem to the phenomenon of the red tide.

Greetings!

The immortalization of Chile invisible

Dear lector:

This time I’ll be talking about the immortalization of Chile invisible in the decade of the 80 and “La Asociación de Fotógrafos Independientes (AFI)”.

As you can see in the page “memoria chilena”, the AFI was born in the context of the military dictatorship with the objective of promoting the deeds of the unprotected photographers whose images portrayed the life in years of military dictatorship and denouncing the abuses committed by the military forces. Including Álvaro Hoppe G, the photographer and author of the attached picture.

The photographies began to appear around 1981, in the military dictatorship in Santiago. The picture is a wall of the 80s appointed as “Afiche de los desaparecidos”. Like its name suggests, the picture represents an important issue in Chile, the catch, torture and forced disappearance of people who think differently.

I very much like this picture because evidence the resilience of people in the face of the extreme injustice. Also is an affirmative picture on memory in a country that pushes for forgetting.
